I don’t know where I was heading with today’s update – it was just a combination of recent articles about aging populations combined with several articles referring to declining global fertility rates – Boomers upset at getting singled out as the source of the world’s ills yet they were the ones perfectly happy to throw even their own cohort to the wolves – with the more reasonable members of their generation no longer around to act as a buffer and greedily holding onto power and money, there’s no longer enough of a younger generation to take care of them, pay into their pension funds, keep them afloat in their later years
