working through some Obsidian query hints from Ellane W’s blog – she uses @X
as the target
for task queries – I’ve been using Bullet Journal syntax for tasks, but the @X
syntax
works really well for aggregating holiday lists – the one problem I’ve run into is dealing with
movable feasts («last Thursday of month» type of thing) since they fall on a different date each year

otherwise, Obsidian makes running queries relatively easy, albeit still relying on overloading fenced code blocks – just copy the syntax from a regular search and place it inside the code block
