I’ve complained before about trying to find information about Linux containers for complete beginners – and I finally stumbled across Distrobox which (to all intents and purposes) abstracts away any complexity giving you all the benefits without any of the confusion – and the benefits seem to keep piling up – being able to run packages from any (supported) distro on your home distro, setting up controlled (and contained) development environments, to simply trying out another distro and seeing how it feels
