along with all the futzing with the look of these notes, I finally gave in and implemented some monthly indices – currently, they’re only available from the home page – I have yet to decide whether to link them from the invididual pages or not – I kinda like the block of horizontal links at the bottom of each note and keeping the vertical links to the home page – it sorta fits in with having a couple longer backlinks in the footer but only one short forward link? – we’ll see as time goes on if I get distracted by another method …
