I ended up just disabling DeArrow which at least got me all the (sensationalized) thumbnails back on Youtube – and I’ve noticed one other side effect of removing that addon – I’ve gotten pretty much no repeats of Youtube’s “Please log in to prove you’re not a bot.” pages when loading videos – each time I opened up a page, DeArrow would send out a dozen API calls for single frames to replace thumbnails – I was opening up three videos, Youtube claimed I was opening up thirty videos – and they’re the only ones allowed to waste bandwidth and resources and they jealously guard that right
