so, gave it and decided to start reshuffling (“refactoring” hah!) the directory
structure for these notes – making things just one level deeper helps to keep
the top level a little cleaner – of course, I started out the hard way – opening
up each file and doing a search-and-replace – it took me longer than I care to
admit to remember that sed is still there – updating one month
is just four runs of sed across the repository and it catches not
just that month but everything linking back to that month
