re-installed my new system yet again – added another SSD and it was easier (for me) to re-install rather than just trying to get everything to behave – but it only works because the new system is still in its early stages and I haven’t committed to switching over yet – a couple tools also make it a far less daunting experience: making detailed notes about my previous attempts, chezmoi syncing my dotfiles, and Nextcloud syncing my notes
