and then the sense of euphoria when you finally recieve the PCB, plug it in and test it, and … »it works!« – this thing I designed is in my hands and I can type on it! – the complete opposite of a bullshit job where you have no tangible result and every indication that your job is not only meaningless and unnecessary, but is actively impeding progress
