I talked yesterday about routine and getting miffed when it gets interrupted – this applies as well to when I’m the one interrupting – to the point where I will put off or ignore whatever would cause the interruption – I want to pick up a couple items from Ikea (and in general, I like Ikea) – but doing so requires taking time out of my weekend mental recovery time, actually getting moving at a reasonable hour, requires sitting in the car for a couple hours, trying to play Tetris with longer objects and a small car, and interfering with my regular weekend grocery shopping – in other words, the interruptions start to cascade out of control of my abilities to mentally balance everything
