someone on Mastodon recently pointed out a little tidbit from Ursula K Le Guin’s The Dispossessed – the society on Anarres uses a conlang called Pravic – Pravic has one word that covers both «work» and «play» – in contrast, it has a term kleggich that covers «drudgery» – along with my earlier thoughts on separating «work» versus «job», I think kleggich can easily be extended to cover «job» alongside «drudgery»
