updating flatpak packages is as easy as flatpak update – but
flatpak’s download process (or at least its reporting of its downloading) appears
far less robust than one would expect – the most common «glitch» people point
out is what appears to be partial downloads (1.6 kB / 4.0 MB) –
flatpak is only downloading the updated components but reporting the total
package size – the other case is when there’s an error during download, flatpak
keeps increasing the download size regardless (327.6 MB / 152.5 MB)
– in this case, it’s just a matter of waiting until flatpak recognizes the error
and then running flatpak update a second (or third) time
