as much as I enjoy traveling, I find I haven’t really been in the mood lately – between the COVID lockdown, looming climate crisis, and incipient fascist overthrow, I find myself growing more and more insular – a vague awareness of the carbon emisisons of aircraft and a vague understanding of the colonialism of tourism hasn’t been helping my mood either
