I set up the new
system I’ve been running for a while now with the stable
branch of Alpine Linux (Alpine Linux v3.22) which runs the LTS
kernel (6.12.36-0-lts) – despite there being absolutely no need to,
my routine is running doas apk -U upgrade and flatpak
update every morning – this would make somewhat more sense if I was
running Alpine Edge, Arch, or Debian Sid – but for Alpine stable, updating that
frequently is more of an affectation than anything
