Codeberg e.V. is a code forge run as a non-profit cooperative – and recently, Codeberg e.V. held their annual member vote on policies – over 70% of the membership voted to place a ban on slop-coded projects being hosted on Codeberg – and the slop-coders are having hissy fits – but I noticed one of the giveaways is the phrasing : the LLM boosters always talk about “Codeberg decided to ban”, there’s never any mention of “members of Codeberg voted to ban”
