growing up, my mother, my grandmother, and my grandmother’s roommate all collected native southwest jewelry – and all of them had small wrists with relatively flat wrist bones (ulnar styloid process) so they could slide on even the most rigid silver bracelet – in contrast, my wrist bone protrudes a lot – even when young, I could only do the flexible bracelets, the rigid bracelets with their tiny openings were too much of a chore to even try on
