there have been a lot of complaints about the Liquid Glass interface introduced with macOS Tahoe, to the point that a lot of people are sticking with (or reverting back to) macOS Sequoia – while there were many technical upgrades with the switch from Classic Mac OS to Mac OS X, my personal opinion is that the Mac interface peaked in the Mac System 7 to Mac OS 9 era – primarily because Apple was still abiding by their very own world-changing Human Interface Guidelines – guidelines that not only have they abandoned, but, in Tahoe, rather sloppily abandoned
