spent a minute the other day sewing shut the fly of a pair of pajama pants – one button two-thirds of the way up was somehow supposed to create a “no gap” fly – the resultant gapping was “awkward” even for a guy living by himself – spending an extra penny for a second button or a little more fabric for a couple inches overlap was obviously way out of their budget
