whelp, finally did the switch from the old system (Debian with Xfce) to the new system (Alpine with Labwc) – obviously still some stuff to transfer over (as well as a couple SSDs) but so far, everything’s going well (fingers crossed) – and flatpak Steam seems to be running better than apt-get Steam – with all the warnings on Alpine’s wiki, I was expecting to have to do a lot more fiddling whereas so far it just works (again, fingers crossed)
