was looking up something on Codeberg Pages and (finally) noticed a yellow header across the top that Codeberg Pages was in maintenance mode with a link to the issue – the issue itself is dated six months ago so that’s on me for not paying attention – a more recent announcement is the addition of storage limits (understandable) – currently, I’m only at 10% but if I continue these notes, that number will just continue to creep upwards over time

which means, I’m going to have to sit down and put some thought into my options
(bah humbug!) – the maintenance mode only affects these notes (but I have noticed
knock-on effects like down-time and https burps) – I could offload
the notes part itself to a blogging site (like Mataroa or Bear that I looked at
previously) – or I could buckle down and pay for a sourcehut account (even though
they’re still in alpha)
