I would normally say this is applies mainly the US but then we we can see so many countries using the US as a guide book rather than as a warning – so much of our existence has become shaped by who we are voting against rather than who we are voting for – political parties can give us so many reasons «we’re not like the other guys» and why we should vote against their opposition – but all of them refuse to give us anybody to vote for
