last month, Xfinity did a big upgrade to their infrastructure in my area –
evolving your network
– I used it as a chance to take a day off and
relax for a bit – as well as walking around the neighborhood and rubbernecking
their trucks as they were doing the work – ever since that point, there’s been a
series of minor blips as the network drops or stutters for half a minute or so –
but more seriously, once a week, every week, we’ve identified a network
performance issue that may be affecting your Xfinity service
and the whole
thing disappears for half a day – thankfully, I can hobble along on my phone’s
hotspot during those outages
