over the years, I’ve collected lists of music tracks that’ve grabbed my fancy –
first on paper and then digitally – I’ve yet to go back and start digitizing my
paper notes, but I did finally sit down and start condensing my digital notes –
so, a while back, I sat down, made copies of all the files that contained lists
of music, normalized the formatting (Markdown, remove headers and footers, add
in checkboxes
, rearrange to artist - track) –
cat to merge them together, then sort, then
uniq, then touch up by hand – and with Darude’s Sandstorm
,
I’m now about halfway through a 500+ line file
