I almost always have music playing all day long – mainly internet radio, and yes, predominately ’80s – and on rare occascions, I’ll look up a live stream out of Thailand on Youtube – what both of these have in common is a timeshift relative to where I am – for example, Mondays is an ’80s station out of Bailleul in northern France – when I tune in in the morning, they’re doing their evening commute home broadcast with traffic reports and updates on TV shows – by the time I turn off the station, they’re well into their morning commute, it’s horoscopes (and more traffic reports) – similarly, when I tune in, the live streams out of Thailand are showing morning deliveries and shop owners out sweeping their front step
