recently, an inverse trend in my life caught my eye – as I’ve upgraded computers over the years (over the decades), I’ve downgraded my desktop – I’ve grown up with the usual suspects and have regularly flipped between Apple, MS-DOS, Macintosh, Windows, and Linux – on Linux, I’ve done Gnome, Openbox, back to Gnome, Xfce, and now, LabWC (to all intents and purposes, back to Openbox) – even though I’m now on a system that could run rings around all my previous systems, I’m relying on a window manager that makes no use of any of its abilities
