a couple years ago, Steph Ango (not too long after he became CEO) published a
post on how he uses Obsidian – since the post, he’s updated most of his demo
vault to use the Bases feature of Obsidian, but most of the ideas proposed are
pretty much along the lines of keep it simple
and, whether subconsciously
or seeing the ideas elsewhere, I find I’ve already adopted a few of them – no
folders (or at least folders only for the support stuff, templates, attachments,
etc.) – atomic notes (one idea per note) – and meaningful titles (although I put
the title in the YAML frontmatter since I like a more sanitized filename)
