watching through season 1 of Itchy Boots and regularly getting sidetracked looking up the cuisine of whichever country she’s in at the time – I had been warned elsewhere about the repetiveness of central Asian plov/palov – but, in contrast, Montenegrin cuisine sounds amazing – a mix of (according to Wikipedia) Levantine, Turkish, central European, Mediterranean, and Italian – start with pršut and pamidora salata, proceed through stews and pickles and ćufte, and finish with priganice and cheese and baklava
