I’ve long contemplated getting a motorcycle (or even a motorbike – yes, I’ve fallen in love with the Honda Super Cub) and getting rid of my car – but one of the biggest things holding me back is all of the safety gear – good boots, protective pants, armor vest, protective jacket, good gloves, and helmet at the bare minimum – having to move around in a 30°C summer with that many layers makes it sound like I’d pass out from heat stroke – but (especially with US drivers) I’m absolutely not skipping the safety gear, “no way, no how”
