I haven’t had any luck getting the Vial GUI working on Alpine (albeit, I also haven’t really put any effort into it either) – between a mix of AppImages not running on musl systems, Firefox not supporting WebHID, and Flatpak sandboxing, it hasn’t really been worth trying to figure things out
on the flip side, I’ve managed to get QMK running (and constrained inside a container as well) – with QMK making editing boards and keymaps a lot simpler over the past years (now all that’s needed is two JSON files), it no longer feels like I’m losing out not having a GUI to update a keymap
