most of the weather forecasting services share data (as well as leeching off government and university sources) so one would expect their projections to at least be in the same ballpark – had one day recently where Google was reporting 12°C outside, OpenWeather claiming 4°C, and Weather Underground saying 1°C – it doesn’t help that I don’t think I’ve owned a physical thermometer in ages so I can’t just walk outside and confirm the real thing for myself
at one point I was suspecting some of them might be having problems converting between Celsius and Fahrenheit – but then all of their data should’ve been collected in Celsius in the first place – although I wouldn’t put it past them to collect in Celsius, convert to Fahrenheit for US weather forecasts, and then convert back to Celsius for those weirdos who want their reports in metric …
