not too far up the road from me is an Eskaton Manor – a northern California “senior apartment community” chain – which, to my mind, sounds like an overly ominous name to choose for anything involving seniors – add in current events with our current political leaders trying to immanentize the eschaton
eschaton (noun) /ˈɛs.kə.tɑn/: apocalypse, end times, Armageddon, end of history – “behave grandpa, or we’ll shove you into the end of days home”
